GLQ offers dynamic performances perfect for a wide range of events such as worship services, community gatherings, private parties, and fundraisers. We work closely with you, the event organizer, to create appropriate programs that suit the theme and mood of the occasion. Whether it’s a reflective wedding service or a graduation celebration, we’ll craft a musical journey that makes you proud to know GLQ.

ACADEMIC AND CONCERT PROGRAMS

The GLQ classical repertory lies at the heart of our professional interests. We offer in-house marketing strategies to make sure you get a full house. We also collaborate to ensure our proposed programs fit the seasonal needs and tastes of your audience.

As accomplished educators, we are also passionate about sharing our knowledge. Classroom presentations include a brief history of the saxophone followed by a live performance of pieces from different eras and genres demonstrating the saxophone’s unique versatility. We then hold a Q&A session, where students can ask questions about the instrument, its history, or even the life of a professional musician. All questions welcome!

SPECIAL MUSIC PROJECTS

Do you have a special project in mind? Perhaps you need to record some music or want a unique musical composition? Maybe you’re a composer yourself looking for a new ensemble to write for. We’d love to hear your ideas and see how we can work together!

We work with choirs, orchestras, and wind ensembles to create feature performances. We are open to exploring innovative musical collaborations including new works commissions, special guests, artist residencies, and master classes.

Really Thrilled

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you haven’t had a saxophone quartet casually stroll through your Beverly Hills backyard while playing Reading Rainbow like it’s the national anthem, you haven’t lived.

Gold Line Quartet showed up looking like they just graduated from the Conservatory of Cool. These folks played Dvořak with the elegance of a candlelit concert. Then without missing a beat they launched into Reading Rainbow like it was a Grammy-winning symphony. Goosebumps? Absolutely. Confused guests? Only until they recognized the melody and started swaying like it was prom night.

At one point, they were literally walking through the crowd, serenading us like musical ninjas. One guest cried. (Okay, it was me.)

10/10 would let them wander through my house again. Total class act. They made my party feel like a Hollywood movie scored by saxophones and dopamine.
